Donegal Senator Manus Boyle is to take on the role of Fine Gael’s Seanad spokesperson for Fisheries and Marine.
He says it’s a strong step forward in his party’s commitment to revitalising Ireland’s fishing industry.
Senator Boyle says while there’s a lot to be done, he’s ready to get started.
