An Independent Appeal Committee of the FAI has rejected Derry City’s appeal for “wrongful dismissal” following Carl Winchester’s red card in the Candy Stripes’ SSE Airtricity League Premier Division match against St. Patrick’s Athletic on Monday.
In accordance with the FAI Disciplinary Regulations, Carl Winchester will serve a two-match suspension.
Derry City lost the game 2-0.
