A North Inishowen councillor is again calling on Uisce Eireann to replace two kilometres of water main between Mindoran and Clonmany after another significant burst on the trunk main supplying customers in the area.
Areas affected by the burst yesterday and again today include Dunaff, Urris, Gortfad, Clonmany, and Ballyliffin, with Uisce Eireann hoping the necessary repairs can be completed by midday today.
In excess of 1,500 properties are affected, with Cllr Martin McDermott saying this is happening far too frequently……..
