Gardaí are warning that those who cause an obstruction while parking their car are liable to have it seized and face an impound fee.
It comes as Bundoran RNLI issued an appeal to drivers in the good weather after their lifeboat station was completely blocked by parked cars yesterday.
Gardaí say that blocking access for emergency vehicles puts lives at risk and is an offence under road traffic legislation.
