A former TD has been questioned about allegations of pension fraud.
The Irish Independent reports the former politician was arrested over claims he’d continued to claim the state pensions of his parents after they’d died.
The paper says the man, who hasn’t held political office for a number of years, was released without charge, and a file is expected to be prepared for the DPP.
