A debate to progress the A5 will be heard in the Northern Ireland Assembly this afternoon.
West Tyrone MLA Nicola Brogan says her party remains committed to seeing it through.
She says there must be political co-operation and agreement across the Assembly.
Over 50 have died on the road since 2007.
