A takeaway located on the Diamond in Donegal Town was broken into in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Between 2:45am and 3:00am, two men entered the building through an unlocked door to the rear of the premises and made their way through the rooms.
Some damage was caused inside but nothing was stolen.
Gardaí in Ballyshannon are asking anyone who may have travelled in the area of the Diamond between 2:30am and 3:30am with a dash-cam, to make the footage available.
