A man has been arrested after two vehicles parked outside a home caught fire this morning in the Loch an Iúir area.
The man, aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with the investigation and is being detained at a Garda station in the North West.
Criminal damage was caused to the van and car at approximately 5.10am.
Gardaí say investigations are on going.
