Letterkenny University Hospital remains one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country today.
According to the INMO, 40 patients are waiting for a bed at the hospital this morning, making it the third most overcrowded hospital.
Yesterday, the hospital warned that its Emergency Department was extremely busy and that all available beds were in use.
