
A West Donegal Councillor says a lot of very good work is being done to improve tourism facilities in Donegal, but one area in which the council is falling down is in the provision of public toilets.
Cllr John Sheamais O’Fearraigh told a meeting of Glenties Municipal District that locations such as the Railway walk on Muckish and Assaranca Waterfall near Ardara need facilities. It’s an issue that is regularly raised in the chamber by members.
He told the meeting the location of a special eco toilet on the beach in Carrickfinn was a success, and that could be replicated elsewhere……..
