The Seanad has heard calls for a debate on the Defective Concrete Block Bill.
Senator Eileen Flynn says the conversation on social housing needs to take place in both houses of the Oireachtas, including the Seanad.
She added that travellers from Donegal have raised concerns about homes that are not included in the scheme.
However, Senator Flynn stressed that it is vital the conversation moves beyond the county’s borders:
