A new Superintendent has been appointed to Letterkenny Garda Station.
The position had remained vacant for almost two years following the promotion of Chief Superintendent Goretti Sheridan.
Superintendent Siobhán Mollohan will now take on the role, with responsibility for the Donegal North Community Engagement Functional Area within the Donegal Garda Division.
