Lough Swilly RNLI were tasked in recovering a missing boat this morning.
While on exercise, they were tasked by Malin Head Coast Guard Radio, following reports from a member of the public that a boat was missing from its moorings at Portsalon Pier.
The volunteer crew were quickly on scene and, after recovering the engine cover from the vessel, it was determined that the boat had sunk.
Malin Head Coast Guard Radio then stood the lifeboat crew down, and they continued with their morning exercise.
