Wicklow were two points down in injury time but managed to get the all-important goal they needed to clinch the Division 3 National Hurling League title against Donegal in Aughrim today.
Mickey McCann’s side led for most of the game but couldn’t hold on to get the win and it finished 3-16 to 2-18.
After the game McCann told Michael Sargent the late goal was “a sickening blow”…
