Police in Strabane have confirmed they are treating the daubing of graffiti on War Memorial on Strabane’s Derry Road in the town as a sectarian-motivated hate crime.
It’s reported the incident may have occurred sometime between 9pm on Saturday night and 6am on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, similar graffiti has now appeared in the Abercorn Square area of the town.
