Donegal County Council are urging dog owners to keep their pets under control during lambing season.
They say sheep are particularly vulnerable during this time of year.
Pet owners are being asked to not let their dogs loose in areas adjoining livestock fields as many attacks are caused by dogs that escape and attack sheep grazing nearby.
