A woman has been assaulted and had cash stolen while sitting in her car at traffic lights in Letterkenny.
Gardaí say the incident happened at around 11:40am on Tuesday on the Justice Walsh Road.
A woman approached the driver’s side, opened the door and allegedly assaulted the driver before taking a sum of cash.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
