A teenage boy was allegedly assaulted during an incident at Rathmullan Pier last week.
The attack happened at around 8:50pm on Friday, evening while he was fishing at the location.
He was approached by two younger males.
One of them asked him if he could use his fishing rod.
When he declined, the second boy proceeded to assault him a number of times.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage from the area between 8:30pm and 9:30pm.
