Uisce Éireann says they are working to restore the water supply to Gaoth Dobhair following two separate bursts to water mains.
The burst is affecting some homes, businesses, and schools in Gaoth Dobhair and the surrounding areas.
It is expected that repairs will be complete by 4pm this afternoon.
Uisce Éireann adds that typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to be restored to all customers.
