Gardaí are appealing for dash-cam footage after a speeding car failed to stop for officers in Mountcharles in the early hours of yesterday morning.
At around 12.40am, a car believed to be a black Volkswagen Passat was detected travelling well in excess of the speed limit on the N56.
The driver failed to stop when signalled to do so and continued at high speed in the direction of Glenties.
Anyone who travelled along that route between 12.30am and 1am yesterday and may have relevant dash-cam footage is being asked to make it available to Gardaí.
