The Assembly has been told today that the community in Castlederg lost 28 men and women who were involved in upholding law and order over the course of the troubles.
The issue was raised by West Tyrone MLA Tom Buchanan, who raised the killing 38 years ago of UDR Lance Corporal Michael Darcy.
The DUP representative told the Assembly that whatever SInn Fein may say, there was always an alternative to murder………..
