A 33-year-old man has been charged with assisting offenders by police in Derry, and is due before Derry Magistrates’ Court on 8th July.
The charge relate to a serious assault reported in the Leckey Road area of the city yesterday.
Two other men aged 61 and 31 remain in police custody, after detectives were granted additional time to question them after their arrests on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
