Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow High Temperature warning for Ireland from tomorrow.
The advisory will come into affect from 12pm on Tuesday and remain in place until 9am on Friday.
The forecaster say the country will experience a short, sharp burst of heat with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees on Thursday and ‘tropical nights’ will make for muggy and uncomfortable sleeping conditions.
