190 people are on the waiting list for home help in Donegal.
This was revealed at a recent meeting of the west-north west regional health forum.
Broken down by area 80 people in East Donegal are waiting up to 26 weeks for home help, in Inishowen the figure is 26 and in North Donegal it rises to 87.
The figures were received by Cllr Gary Doherty who raised the question.
He says the format the numbers were delivered in was unacceptable and there needs to be more information on specifics:
