Fintan Dewhirst is the National Senior 400m Hurdles Champion after a stunning run in this afternoon’s final at the National Senior Track & Field Championships in Santry.
Tir Conaill AC athlete Dewhirst’s gold added to Bridget McDyer & Joseph Gillespie’s golds yesterday in what was a successful weekend for our north-western athletes.
There were silver medals today for Lauren Callaghan, Arlene Crossan and Amy Timoney.
