
The man and woman charged in relation to the seizure of an alleged car bomb in County Monaghan are due back in court today.
25-year-old law student Isobella Perrie Sullivan, of Abbeylands Park in Clane, County Kildare, was remanded in custody on Friday pending a bail hearing before Monaghan District Court today.
While 44-year-old Simon O’Donovan, with an address at Sperrin Road in Drimnagh, Dublin, is due back before the Special Criminal Court.
His application for bail was refused during a court appearance on Saturday night.
Both were charged with possession of explosive substances.
The alleged bomb was found when Gardaí, targeting dissident republicans, stopped and searched a car near Carrickmacross on Wednesday afternoon.
