The Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of a former member of the Defence Forces who was found guilty of raping a fellow soldier.
30-year-old Kielan Mooney, of Bloomfield Park in Derry, was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison in January 2025.
He was convicted of three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
