Donegal County Council did not complete any new-build social homes during the first quarter of this year.
New figures published today by the Department of Housing show 714 social homes were delivered nationwide through a range of construction and delivery methods during the first three months of 2026.
Donegal County Council has a target of delivering 174 new-build social homes this year.
The Department says housing delivery should be assessed over the full year, given the nature of the construction cycle.
