Sligo Rovers captain Will Fitzgerald will sign for Shamrock Rovers.
The Hoops have paid seventy-five thousand euro for the 27-year-old – breaking their record domestic transfer fee.
The League of Ireland transfer window closed last night.
In the meantime, Sligo have completed the signing of Jack Shorrock on loan from Port Vale until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has scored four goals in 43 appearances for the League Two side.
He’s Sligo’s first signing since new manager Darren Purse took the reins last week.
