The mother of Danielle McLaughlin says she is hopeful her daughter’s killer will fail in his appeal.
The 28-year-old from Inishowen was travelling in India when she was found dead in Goa in 2017.
Subsequent investigations found that she had also been raped.
The Irish Daily Mail reports that convicted killer Vikat Bhagat is due to appear before the Bombay High Court again on September 9th.
It took seven years for Bhagat to be brought to justice.
