Finn Harps have been beaten 5-0 by Bray Wanderers in the SSE Airtricity League First Division at Ferrycarrig Park this evening.
First half goals from John Bilili Sesay and Ben McCormack had the home side 2-0 up at the break.
The mountain got even taller for Harps to climb when Max Hutchison was sent off on 67 minutes.
Bray capitalised on having the extra man and further goals from Tyreik Sammy (2) and Dean O’Shea sealed a comfortable home win for the promotion hopefuls.
Tonight’s result means it’s two 5-0 defeats in a row for Patrick McEleney’s Harps, who host Cobh in a fortnight’s time.
In other games, leaders Cork City defeated Kerry 3-1, UCD were 4-1 winners over Wexford, Cobh Ramblers beat Treaty 2-0 and Athlone won 2-1 at home to Longford Town.
