Ban on under-18s using e-scooters delayed

A planned increase in the age limit to use an e-scooter, from 16 to 18, has been delayed.

It comes as the Government consults with the EU on foot of legal advice.

Meanwhile, regulations will be signed later requiring anyone on an e-scooter to wear a hi-vis and helmet, with the rules taking effect on Friday.
