A teenage boy has died following a hit-and-run collision on the border of Clare and Limerick.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident, which happened at around 11 o’clock last night at Cottage Cross near Cloonlara.
A second vehicle was involved, but did not remain at the scene.
The scene continues to be examined by Gardaí and local diversions are still in place.
