Foyle MLA Mark H Durkan has raised serious concerns about continued sporadic mail delivery which he says is impacting people in the Derry area.
Mr Durkan recently met with the Consumer Council who confirmed they raised the specific issue of postal delays in Derry at their Customer Engagement Forum and with Ofcom, and that research is underwayinto the impact of proposed postal reforms on consumers.
The SDLP says they’ve been raising this for years, but despite assurances, constituents are still waiting weeks and sometimes more than a month, for important letters, and that can have very real consequences……………
