Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after a bus was hijacked in County Tyrone yesterday afternoon.
A man, believed to be armed with a knife, allowed passengers to get off the bus in Omagh shortly before 1 o’clock – but did not let the driver disembark.
The bus was pursued along the A5 road before it was eventually stopped in the Strabane area.
A man in his 30s was removed from the bus and arrested.
One man has been taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
