Women’s role in building and sustaining peace is the focus of an event taking place at Thornhill College in Derry this morning.
The John and Pat Hume Foundation is partnering with the college for the discussion, which forms part of Good Relations Week.
Speakers include Monica McWilliams, a founding member of the Northern Ireland Women’s Coalition, former Agriculture Minister Brid Rodgers, and representatives from Foyle Women’s Aid, the Ulster-Scots community and Thornhill’s Global Sisters.
