The NHSE has confirmed that an agency radiographer is due to begin work at Carndonagh Community Hospital in the first week of October, with the service expected to return to three days a week.
In a letter to local councillor Martin McDermott, the HSE says returning to a five day service remains a priority, but that will be contingent on securing sustainable staffing levels.
Cllr McDermott is welcoming the confirmation, saying the restoration of services in Carndonagh constitutes a win-win situation for everyone involved……..
