Planning permissions granted for dwellings in Donegal fell by 20% year-on-year in the second quarter of this year.
There were 142 successful applications between April and June, compared with 177 during the same period in 2025.
Of those 142 applications, 127 were for one-off houses, six were for multi-unit housing developments and the remaining nine were for apartments.
