Donegal County Council’s Planning SPC has been it’s vital for the future of Donegal Town that a new relief road is secured on the old Laghey Road.
The issue was raised by Cllr Michael Boyle, who says a previous attempt to secure funding under the Housing Infrastructure Investment Fund failed, but that should now be revisited because there is an application in for a substantial residential development in that area.
Cllr Boyle says Donegal Town is thriving, but it’s important action is taken to ensure it doesn’t go the same way as Letterkenny as far as traffic is concerned………
