The Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally took place around the roads of Clonmel today and it was the final round of the National Rally Championship.
The Toyota Yaris Rally 2 of Donegal’s Eamonn Kelly & Sligo co-driver Niall Burns came out on top ahead of Cork’s Cal McCarthy & Brian Duggan’s Citreon.
Kelly & Burns ended up 1 minute and 7 seconds ahead of McCarthy & Duggan, while Clare native Padraig Egan made up the rest of the top 3 in a Ford Escort.
Donegal’s Kevin Eves was the top seed and led up until stage 7 but his rally came to a premature end.
