Gardaí are investigating the burglary of a quad which occurred at a farm in the area of Baskill, Gleneely, Carndonagh.
This is reported to have happened between 6pm on Monday last and 10am on Wednesday.
The farmyard in question is situated up a long lane in quite a rural location. An unlocked shed in the yard was entered between those times and a 2018 green Suzuki King 500 quad was stolen from within.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone living in that area who may have observed any suspicious activity, people or vehicles between those dates to get in touch with Gardaí in Buncrana.
Those who come across a similar type of quad for sale on a second hand basis, are asked to alert Gardaí.
