Five more rural areas of Donegal have been added to the list of towns and villages to which high speed broadband will be offered.
Eircom has confirmd this morning that its ‘Fibre to the Home’ programme is being extended to Churchill, Fintown, Gleneely, Rossnowlagh and Tamney, eventually offering speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second.
Its part of what Eircom says will be a €400m investment in fibre over the next five years.
Six towns in Donegal are already enabled, with a further 51 at the planning stage.
