An Independent TD says that the lack of a cliff rescue service in part of Donegal could be a danger to tourists.
Thomas Pringle says that the lack of a rescue service in Bunbeg could limit the amount of tourists coming to the area, particularly for adventure tourism.
The Bunbeg Coast Guard Cliff Rescue service was closed in 2012 after a review by the Department of Transport.
At the time there were relatively few call-outs, however Deputy Pringle says that the Wild Atlantic Way development could bring more people to the area and lead to more incidents:
