Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has named a provisional 40-man squad for next month’s pivotal Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Seamus Coleman is included after his Everton manager Roberto Martinez revealed his hamstring injury wasn’t as bad as first feared.
Shay Given is among the goalkeepers while Derry’s Darren Gibson’s is named along with Shane Duffy, Ciaran Clark and James McClean.
The uncapped trio of Derry’s Eunan O’Kane, Adam Rooney and Alan Judge are again included.
The squad will be whittled down again before October 4th, with Germany and Poland on the horizon.
