Man arrested in Donegal in connection with 2014 murder in Belfast

 

A man in his 40’s has been arrested in Donegal in relation to the murder of Edward Gibson in Belfast.
The 28 year old father of one was shot dead in the Divis area of the city last October.
Shortly after 9 o’clock this morning Gardai arrested a man in his 40s in south Donegal in relation to the murder.
He’s being detained at Ballyshannon Garda Station.
It’s understood a 56 year old woman has also been detained by Police in Belfast this morning as part of the investigation.
