Finn Harps had to come from behind to force a 1-1 draw away to Athlone Town on Friday night in the SSE Airtricity League First Division.
With Damien McNulty sidelined due to a shoulder injury and Tony McNamee, Kevin McHugh, Wilfried Tagbo and Ciaran Coll all suspended, Harps manager Ollie Horgan made four changes from the side that beat UCD last time out.
BJ Banda made his senior debut, Kieran McDaid a first league start and Thomas McMonigle and Michael Funston returned to the starting line up.
Conor Keddy and Gareth Doherty also made the debuts coming on as substitutes.
Athlone went 1-0 up on 14 minutes with Gavin Boyle putting the home side in front.
Ten minutes before the break Matthew Crossan levelled the match with a solid finish after a good build up involving Banda and Raymond Foy.
Neither side managed another goal in the second half as the spoils were shared.
Harps play their final home game of the season next Saturday against champions Wexford Youths before they tackle the two leg promotion play off against UCD.
The Students were 1-nil winners at home to Cabinteely and saw their rivals Shelbourne fall to a 4-1 defeat at Wexford.
