Rory McIlroy is six shots off the lead after a decent start to his challenge at the Turkish Airlines Open.
The world number three, who only played the course for the first time yesterday, carded a 5-under par 67 to hold a share of fourth place behind South Africa’s Jaco Van Zyl, who holds a three-shot lead on 11-under after a superb 61.
Shane Lowry, who was playing alongside McIlroy today, is on 4-under.
Meanwhile, Gleneagles in Scotland will host the Solheim Cup in 2019, the Ladies European Tour has announced.
