Highland Radios fundraising event ‘Beat the Banker’ was a huge success last night in the Mount Errigal Hotel, raising over €20,000 for charity.
The two charities set to benefit from the money raised are the Donegal Down Syndrome Association and ‘Ray of Sunshine Foundation’.
The aim is to raise €25,000 by the end of the year, to mark the stations 25th birthday and the generosity shown by local businesses and people in Donegal for last nights event has made the target more achievable.
