An East Derry MLA says news that the long awaited A6 upgrade will begin this year is to be welcomed, but is not necessarily the boost for the North West that some are claiming.
John Dallat says there is £100,000 in the budget for works this year, with no guarantee of money for the work set to take place fom next year to 2020.
Mr Dallat is also questioning why the work is starting near Randalstown, saying people west of the Bann are once again left feeling marginalised…………..
