A Donegal Councillor has warned of severe damage to the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny if action isn’t taken to prevent future flooding the area.
James Pat McDaid wants the Council to write to the OPW to carry out works to help alleviate the flooding risk in the Ballymacool area near the Leisure Centre.
He says the area flooded very badly recently and says it was only luck that prevented the Aura Leisure Centre from getting severely damaged:
